AIRPORT

The designated airport to fly into is Helsinki – Vantaa International (appr. 60 km from St. Laurence Golf and appr. 56 km from the official hotel).

NOTE: If you choose to fly to another airport you are responsible for your own travel arrangements.

TRANSPORTATION

Airport transfer

Bus transportation will be provided for all team members and officials from Helsinki – Vantaa Airport to the official hotel on 8th – 9th July and back to the airport on 15th – 16th July.

Please fill in travel details using the online registration form no later than 31st May, 2017.

Shuttle service 

Shuttle service will be provided during the official practice and competition days between the official hotel and the golf club. A shuttle voucher will be provided when checking in at the hotel. The schedule will be announced by 9th June.

NOTE: No shuttle service on Saturday 8th July.

Airport transports and shuttle service to and from the golf club are provided free of charge, but only for teams using the official accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION

The official hotel is Cumulus Resort Siuntio (ex Rantasipi Siuntion Kylpylä). The hotel is situated 20 minutes from the golf course.

Rooms are pre-booked for each team; five (5) rooms (3 twin + 2 single) for 8th – 16th July (8 nights) based on six (6) players and 2-4 officials (captain and coaches) sharing twin rooms. Additional rooms (for officials and accompanying people) are subject to availability.

In order to guarantee your reservation, St. Laurence Golf will send you an invoice of 500 € as an advance payment which will be deducted from the final invoice.

Airport transports and shuttle service to and from the golf club are provided free of charge, but only for teams using the official accommodation.

NOTE: Teams or officials accommodated outside the official accommodation are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

ENTRIES / TEAM FEES

Entries and Entry-fee payment (1,000 CHF) must be made by National Golf Authorities via the EGA website: http://www.ega-golf.ch/ Entry forms (restricted to password holders). Closing date for entries: Tuesday 18th April 2017, 17:00 hrs.

In accordance to the standard procedure there is a team charge (= 6 players and coach) of 1,500 € to cover transportation, practice fees, trolleys, ceremonies and other general costs. Team fee has to be settled no later than 31st May.

For additional officials and accompanying people included in the official team an additional fee of 250 € per person will be charged to cover transportation and the Farewell Dinner.

NOTE: These additional payments should be settled together with the Team fee and names should be informed for those concerned.

GENERAL

Tournament Office

Tournament office is located in the club house and is open from Saturday 8th July 2:00 pm onwards. Opening hours will be posted on the official website prior to the event.

Registration on Site

Teams are requested to register in the tournament office prior to their first practice round.

Notice Boards

Official notice boards will be put up in the club house and in the official hotel. Players and officials are kindly asked to check the notice boards regularly.

Captains’ Pigeon Holes

Pigeon Holes will be located in the Tournament office and will provide Team Captains with information, team sheets and results.

Press Office

An area exlusively reserved for press and media representatives is located on the 2nd floor of the club house. An internet connection and access to live scoring will be provided.

Team Photographs

The official team photographs are scheduled to be taken prior to the Opening ceremony on Monday 10th July.

The place and more exact time will be given at the registration on site.

NOTE: Team Captains, please ask the players to bring their national uniforms with them in the morning, as the official shuttle bus will not make trips to the hotel during the afternoon hours on Monday before the Opening ceremony.

Opening Ceremony

There will be an Opening ceremony followed by a cocktail reception in the evening of Monday 10th July starting at 6:30 pm.

The Opening ceremony will be held outside the Golf Club. The cocktail reception will be held at the Club House.

Closing Ceremony and Farewell Dinner

The Closing and prize giving ceremony will be held at the club house on Saturday 15th July at 7:00 pm or 30 minutes after the play has finished. Farewell Dinner will be held at the official hotel and all players, officials and registered guests are invited to join.

NOTE: Team Captains, please ask the players to bring their national uniforms with them in the morning, as the official shuttle bus will not make trips to the hotel during the afternoon hours on Saturday before the Closing ceremony.

Transportation from the golf club to the Farewell Dinner is provided directly after the prize giving ceremony.

Players, officials and guests are reminded that St. Laurence Golf, the Finnish Golf Union, the European Golf Association and the Official Hotel cannot be held responsible for loss of or damage to equipment or personal belongings.
